Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: None specified Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R), RCIS or RCES Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience - EP experience - Must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before starting work Description: This position involves working full-time in a Cath Lab setting. Rotation of on-call nights and weekends is required. The unit consists of 2 Cath suites with 272 beds in the hospital. Team includes 5 Techs and 6 RNs. Day shift typically has 3-5 Techs and 2-4 RNs. Night shift Techs are on call. The equipment includes Phillips equipment with EMR using Meditech and Mac Lab experience. Typical procedures performed include basic Cath Lab skills, scrubbing, and monitoring. Conscious moderate sedation is also part of the role. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter, team player, and possess excellent communication skills to manage stressful situations. This location offers a great community environment with easy access to outdoor activities. Family-friendly areas are nearby, and response time for on-call is within 30 minutes.
